The Pecos Spring League is the only affiliated developmental spring/winter baseball league, sponsored by the professional independent Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs. By being affiliated with the Pecos League you have the best chance of getting an Independent League Contract and/or being put on the radar of an affiliated team to get signed. The way to judge spring/winter leagues is how many people make opening day rosters not spring training rosters.
This is a great way to get started in professional baseball and a great investment in your baseball career. The Pecos Spring League is the lowest cost Developmental League starting as low as $1250 per player for three weeks of baseball. At the end of the Pecos Spring League players will get signed with realistic chances of making clubs they are signed to. Below are the names/numbers of players who were signed:

The game was the highest level of baseball any of the players will likely ever see.

JD Droddy Manager of 2016 Pecos League Champion Tucson Saguaros
"We had two players from our championship team that came from the Spring League. It is ideal for players with no prior experience."

Chris Treibt Manager of the 2015 Pecos League Champion Roswell Invaders
"We had three players from our championship team that came from the Spring League. The Spring League is a great to place to get things figured out. I have been involved with other Winter Leagues and this is the place to go if you actually want to get a contract. The age limit really makes a difference in the Pecos League and gives you a chance to get a job."

Bill Moore Manager of the 2014 Pecos League Champion Santa Fe Fuego
"The Pecos Spring League had players that helped me build my championship team. Any player that is free agent and wants a real shot at making a roster at playing Independent Baseball this is the league. The Pecos League runs the League to get players. There are so many leagues charging players money with no where to send the players this is not the case with the Pecos Spring League. The Pecos League has the jobs for players 25 and under."
Matt McDermott IndependentBaseball.net
"The Pecos Spring League is the best option for a player trying to play professional baseball who does not affiliated experience. With the age limit of the Pecos League, players have a real chance of making an opening day roster."
"Edison Alvarez-Pitcher in CanAm League Pecos Spring League Player 2013/2014-Manager of Monterey Amberjacks 2018- "I think the Pecos Spring League is great because there is no DH and Houston is Great. I have been to many camps where the pitchers just do PFP's and waste time on the side. In the Pecos Spring League you are in every game many even as pinch hitter. And it gives you a chance to hit. I like to hit and I like the schedule playing every team. It is good to get ready for season or to get a new job."
